What is an Outdoors Card?

The Outdoors Card is an Ontario licence (which comes in the form of a wallet-sized card) that will allow you to hunt or fish. Those new to fishing or hunting must be sure to pick up an Outdoors Card (along with any other specific licences they may need depending on activity) BEFORE going out! Likewise, all hunters and fishers are responsible for keeping a valid card on their person at all times when participating in one of these activities. The licence itself lasts for 3 years before expiring, while additional licences for hunting or fishing will have their own dates.

Who Needs an Outdoors Card?

Anyone who wishes to participate in hunting or fishing activities in Ontario will need the card. This includes Ontario residents and other residents of Canada, as well as non-residents

How do I Obtain an Outdoors Card?
