• TOWN HALL CONCERT

    FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST:

    SEAN MCCANN

    $50.00

A founder of the iconic Canadian band Great Big Sea, Séan McCann blends music, personal storytelling, and comedy to create an engaging experience for his audience. His ability to connect on a human level and draw from his own experiences, including those of overcoming personal challenges, adds depth to his performances.

And with his impressive background as a musician, author and Order of Canada recipient, it’s no wonder his shows are in high demand. This concert will sell out quickly! Please note: this will be an alcohol-free concert with non-alcoholic beverages at the bar. This event is sponsored by The Little Inn of Bayfield and the Virtual High School.

  • GHOST TOUR - HURON HISTORIC GAOL

    Starts October 4 (Fridays only)

    6:45 pm - 8:15 pm

Is this place haunted? Decide for yourself! A rare chance to visit the Huron Historic Gaol after dark for Ghost Tours.

Two tours every Friday night Oct. 4th to November 1st, 6:45-8:15 p.m. or 8:30-10:00 p.m.

This guided tour shines a flashlight into the dark corners of local history. Staff share the true stories of the prisoners and staff who died inside the gaol’s walls, as well as the circumstances that landed criminals, vagrants and ‘lunatics’ behind bars. Hear about local true crime and alleged ghost encounters, and what happened to inmates after death. Includes free exploration at the end of your tour and the opportunity to use the gaol’s spirit board. Explore over 180 years of Huron County history through the tragic and sometimes strange tales of the men, women and children who lived and died at this national historic site.
