Get ready to experience the magic of Christmas in Bayfield, a beloved tradition for over 30 years! This year, the Bayfield and Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 33rd Annual Christmas in Bayfield, set against a picture-perfect backdrop of twinkling lights, cozy fire pits, and charming shops in our scenic village. Mark your calendars for November 15th to 17th, 2024, and immerse yourself in three days of festivities that will fill you with the holiday spirit.

Friday, November 15th – Lighting of the Lights and Opening Night Festivities
Start your holiday experience early with shopping and dining throughout Bayfield’s unique shops and inviting restaurants. Stroll the village for the perfect gifts or warm up with a delicious meal before the evening events begin.

Find festive decor at the Evergreen Christmas Wreaths Sale at St. Andrews Church.
6:30 PM
Enjoy complimentary cocoa and hotdogs in Clan Gregor Square, provided by St. Anne’s Technical Education Department, Enjoy LIVE entertainment in the Gazebo creates a festive atmosphere.
7:00 PM
The highlight of the evening, our Tree Lighting Ceremony and Winter Wonderland kick-off, will take place in Clan Gregor Square. Join us as we officially light up the village, creating a magical glow that sets the tone for the weekend. Afterward, Santa will make a special appearance at the Gazebo, and you can capture memories at our Snowflake Selfie Stations before heading to Bayfield’s restaurants and bars for some Christmas cheer.

Saturday, November 16 - Bayfield’s Annual Santa Claus Parade and the Festivities continue all weekend
Saturday’s events make Bayfield a holiday wonderland! With so much to see and do, be sure to arrive early and enjoy the village as it comes alive with seasonal cheer.
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Visit St. Andrews Church for the second day of the wreath sale to bring home a touch of Bayfield’s holiday spirit.
11:00 AM
Don’t miss the Santa Claus Parade, which will make its way down Main Street, spreading holiday cheer with Santa and a lineup of festive floats. After the parade, stay to enjoy the village’s activities!

Warm up by the fire pits and take in the holiday ambiance around the village.

Santa returns to Library Square for another meet-and-greet, bringing joy to little ones and photo opportunities for families.
Noon - 4:00 PM
Climb aboard for a complimentary horse-drawn carriage ride, or stop by Rosie’s Courtyard to watch a live wood-carving demonstration by Colin Brown. Kids will love the face painting in the Post Office lobby!

Enjoy live music from Jason & the Nomads in Library Square, and bring the kids to the Library for a Children’s Christmas Card Workshop, where they can create festive keepsakes.

Bayfield Town Hall hosts “Once Upon a Christmas,” a special children’s show by the Glee Sisters, filled with holiday stories and songs to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Santa Claus will be in Library Square, spreading holiday joy for families and little ones.

Warm up by our cozy fire pits scattered around the village, and let the kids enjoy face painting at the Post Office lobby.

Try out the new Sunday Funday activities in front of Market 29, where mini outdoor rinks, skee puck, and electronic hockey nets await for interactive holiday fun.
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Head to the Bayfield Community Centre for free skating or enjoy more live music by Jason & the Nomads in Library Square to close out the weekend on a festive note.
